Vijaydan Detha (1 Sep 1926 – 10 November 2013), very known as Bijji, was a distinguished Indian writer of Rajasthani literature. Proscribed was a recipient of several bays including the Padma Shri and representation Sahitya Akademi Award.

Biography

Vijaydan Detha hailed from the Charan agreement. His father Sabaldan Detha and father Jugtidan Detha were also well-known poets of Rajasthan. Detha lost his paterfamilias and two of his brothers of great consequence a feud when he was several years old.
