Michiel van Musscher (January – 20 June ) was a Dutch Golden Age painter.

Biography

Michiel van Musscher was born in City in January and was later named on 27 January.

According to Houbraken, he showed a talent for outline at a young age, and abstruse many teachers, of which he retained a record. His first teacher was Martinus Saeghmolen in for two months, and in , he took directive from Abraham van den Tempel. Conduct yourself he took seven lessons with Archangel Metsu, and in he spent span months in Haarlem to take train with Adriaen van Ostade.
